This policy describes what seedbankinternational.com ("the Site") collects and what we do with it. The Site is not directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, the order details, and the last four digits of the card used (for refunds). The full card number is never stored by us.
When you subscribe to drop and restock alerts: your email address.
When you apply as a breeder: your name, brand, email, phone, street address, and the IP address the application came from.
When you make an account: your email address, or your Discord or Google sign-in if you choose one of those. We then store the profile you build: display name, bio, location and links if you add them, and your avatar.
When you use the community: your posts and photos, comments, likes, follows, direct messages, reports, and the genetics you add to your stash.
When you contribute to the registry: the contribution itself, the name and email you give, and your IP address and browser type. When you submit a grow report or lab certificate: the report and any file you attach.
When you use the site assistant or terminal chat: the text you type.
When you browse: Google Analytics 4 records page views and general device and usage data.
Card payments are processed by Authorize.Net. Card data is tokenized at the time of payment and the full card number and security code are not stored on our servers; we keep only the last four digits and the transaction reference.
Photos taken on a phone or camera can carry hidden data, including GPS location and camera details. Before any photo you upload is published, we remove that data (EXIF, XMP and similar metadata) on our servers, and an image we cannot process is refused rather than stored. This applies to community photos, avatars, and image files attached to lab certificate submissions. PDFs you attach are stored as you send them, so check a PDF yourself before uploading.
We use it to process, ship and support your order; to run accounts, the community and the registry; to review breeder applications; to prevent spam and abuse; to measure how the Site is used; and to meet legal obligations.
Order confirmations and other service messages are sent through Resend. People who place an order are added to our marketing email list and will receive marketing email from us; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at the address below. Newsletter subscribers receive the alerts they signed up for and can opt out the same way.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the Site, each for its own job:
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Posts, comments, photos, avatars and profile details you choose to make public are visible to everyone.
We keep order information as long as needed for fulfillment, refunds, recordkeeping and legal compliance, and account and community content until you ask us to remove it.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including tokenized payment handling and server-side keys that never reach your browser. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
You may ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing us. We respond within 30 days. Some order records must be kept for legal and recordkeeping reasons.
