History & Description

Heart Shot is a direct hit to the heart of old-school bubblegum terps—think zebra stripe / fermented gum / fruit punch candy with a modern upgrade in frost and structure.

This cultivar was created using Money Shot #5, my “Fermented Juicy Fruit” selection from a complex genetic base: Drippy Eye × Meat Breath F2. After hunting multiple packs, one standout pheno carried an unmistakable Juicy Fruit Thai presence—loud, sweet, and nostalgic—yet with unexpected layers that occasionally throw cool menthol-like whiffs. It’s the kind of aroma that feels like a time capsule: bubblegum-forward, fermented, and weirdly addictive.

While the Money Shot mother brought the terp signature, it wasn’t my favorite for structure or raw potency. That’s where the father comes in.

The cross was reinforced with my Heartbreaker “Kono” male selection (Sunken Treasure Seeds collaboration linework). I named him “Kono” because he reeked of zesty, gassy Hawaiian punch candy, and he reliably passes that profile into offspring. In Heart Shot, that translates into a louder, more dimensional nose—like zebra stripe gum mixed with fruit punch zest, with echoes of Hubba Bubba bubble tape in the background.

The Heartbreaker influence also brings added frost, denser OG-leaning flower formation, and improved vigor, while keeping the Juicy Fruit Thai effect alive—new-school structure carrying old-school flavor.
