Aloha Island Genetics (AIG) is a Hawai‘i-based breeding project led by two lifelong friends, Spice and Tardis, whose relationship with cannabis stretches back to the 1970s.

Their work centers on genetic preservation—maintaining the integrity of old, original lines that helped shape modern cannabis—while carefully integrating select new-school lines to build widely loved cultivars with real heritage. AIG celebrates the full spectrum of expression: the beauty of each seed (including color, tiger stripes, and shape), diverse growth patterns, leaf and plant structure variation, color, taste, aroma, and overall appearance. Their library leans into fruity, Hawai‘i tropical fruit–inspired strains, but spans everything from home garden selections to large-scale production, including landraces, old pure lines, pinks, purples, unique genetic traits, and frosty varieties—driven by a continuous quest to discover and refine standout new lines.
