History & Description
Cake Breaker #3 was built to bring together two loud, proven lanes: elite cake-based density and frosting with heirloom-meets-modern candy gas.
The mother selection—Cake Crasher #3 (“Vanilla Bourbon” cut)—is, in my eyes, the epitome of the Wedding Cake family… and arguably an evolution of it. Cake Crasher was bred by JBeezy (Seed Junky Genetics), the creator behind Wedding Cake. The genetic stack (Wedding Cake × Wedding Crasher) creates a uniquely layered “cake” profile, but this cut pushes it further: a sinus-clearing vanilla-bourbon funk, heavy OG fuel, and deep dessert notes.
Visually, the cut is known for dark, almost blackish-purple coloration, rock-hard football-sized buds, serious density, and strong frost. It’s also been known to test extremely well—and in real life, the kush-forward backbone makes it a true knockout cultivar.
The father—Heartbreaker Hawaiian “Kono”—brings legendary heirloom structure and funk with a modern candy twist. Heartbreaker’s base includes High School Sweetheart (“Laker Cut”)—built from classic California heirloom influence (Cherry Pie Kush + Grateful Breath)—then driven forward through OZ Kush (OG Eddy Lepp × Zkittlez) to add loud candy-gas zest and density. The Eddy Lepp lineage carries its own history and tribute to one of cannabis’ pioneers, tying the cross to deeper culture—not just flavor.
Together, these two lines create a heavy indica hybrid with stout structure, dense resinous flowers, and a signature nose that blends OG gas + vanilla-bourbon dessert + candy zest.
